A piece of something I love

Dan Mumford is a freelance artist/designer/screen printer. He's better known for his album art work with bands such as Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, The Gallows, Whitechapel and Bleeding Through. But there's not a piece of his work that i don't feel isn't visually appealing. All of Mumfords work is either hand rendered or made with the use of a tablet, and Photoshop. Though you may say you can create anything with Photoshop these days, he shows a clear attention to detail, this is evident in his work with his use of colour and line work. In my opinion his artwork is unmistakeably beautiful, even his pieces that are more morbid.

One of a series of illustrations for Parkway Drives album Deep Blue. These illustrations are tied to the lyrics of the songs on this album, creating a visual narrative to accompany the album.

This is insight into his personal work rather than his professional work, this illustration is based upon a friend of Mumford. This piece was originally hand drawn and screen printed.

These are two personal prints specifically designed for the relaunch of Dan-Mumford.com. Both pieces were created with Pen and Ink and then screen printed with Black Ink and a varnish layer.
